I got a special request this week from Allison to create a Wedding Wednesday post inspired by an Old Hollywood theme in honor of The Oscars. I couldn’t possibly turn that idea down. When I started thinking about an Old Hollywood theme, vintage curls, red lipstick, black tie event, gold, champagne, and chandeliers came to mind. Here is what I came up with:
Wednesdays are definitely one of my favorite days of the week because that means I get to spend my morning being creative with so many beautiful pictures to piece together a virtual wedding. It feels like an itty bitty glimpse into what my life will be like in the future as a wedding planner. And it really makes me happy. I can’t help but smile as I go through picture after picture looking for the perfect addition to my vision board. And this week in particular made me especially cheerful because I mean how could you not get all giddy when you see this beautiful bouquet? That beautiful bouquet became my inspiration piece for this week. Here’s what I came up with!

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I decided that for this week’s Wedding Wednesday I would create a vision board using the official Valentine’s colors pink and red. Normally, I am not the biggest fan of the two colors together. However, for Valentines Day, I will make an exception. In fact, you might even catch me wearing the two colors together in my outfit. But, only on Valentines Day! Anyway, back to the vision board…I found this cake with pink icing oozing out the sides and red and pink flowers on the top and I thought it was the most beautiful thing in the whole entire world. So, that became my inspiration! Here is what I came up with…
Oh and I have an added bonus for this weeks Wedding Wednesday too! As I’m sure you could probably guess, I watch wedding videos on vimeo all the time (yes, I shed tears during every single one) and this one video in particular has stood out to be my favorite (not including Emily and Steve’s of course!). The song chosen for the video gives me crazy chills and the colors of the wedding happen to be red and pink…SO I couldn’t resist sharing it with you!
