A Beach Picnic

Our parents have been out of town for a couple days to celebrate a wedding of their friend’s son. So that means that us kiddos get to spend lots of time together! And to make things even more exciting…Emily’s friends from high school, Lauren and her husband Nathan, came to visit all the way from Australia!! We have loved having them around.

Anyway, the other night, we decided to have a beach picnic! We packed up our cars with lots of food, beach chairs, towels, and some of the best company and headed out to the beach.

We had lots of fun spending time with our family and friends, catching up with Lauren and Nathan and reminiscing about our times in Australia (we even broke out in to the Australian National Anthem…which, according to our Aussie friends, sounds quite different when sung in an American accent!), and enjoying a beautiful Nantucket sunset!

Happy Birthday Sweet Caroline!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET CAROLINE!  Hope it’s… SO GOOD, SO GOOD, SO GOOD!
You are SO CUTE, SO CUTE, SO CUTE!

What would Emily and I have done if you weren’t born 19 years ago?  We would be so lonely JUST THE TWO OF US.  We are so much happier being THE THREE BEST FRIENDS THAT ANYONE COULD HAVE!

And we are so happy now that you were born a girl and not a stinky boy!  Even though it would have been fun to have a brother named Chad (AND we probably wouldn’t have to wait for you while you take your sweet little time getting ready/putting the perfect outfit together/perfecting your hair/pulling your outfits together with the perfect accessories/and so on if you were a boy)… We really are so much happier with a sister named Caroline. (Too bad Chadaline didn’t stick).

Thank you for being so wise and keeping us in line!  We love you like crazy.
